Why are access procedures necessary?
There are increasing numbers of thefts and undermining activities in the logistics chain, causing companies significant damage.
Thanks to pre-registrations via eLink, Secure Import and e-Registration, it is known who is coming and for which cargo. This prevents theft and undermining activity and protects your air cargo.

Can a driver pick up or deliver multiple shipments with one registration?

What happens after registration?
If you have an ACN or EU card: upon arrival at the airport, the driver scans their ACN or EU card. The handler checks the registration and then grants access to the premises.
If you do not have an ACN or EU card: drivers without an ACN or EU card must identify themselves upon arrival with a valid passport or identity card at the handler's security gatehouse. Please note: a driving licence is not a valid form of identification.
